Ricardo Antonio Chavira was born September 1, 1971 in San Antonio, Texas as the son of a judge, Juan Antonio Chavira. He attended The University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. He is married to Marcea Dietzel and has two children with her, a boy and a girl. He and girlfriend Marcea Dietzel got married in a secret ceremony while wearing their pyjamas. Their 4 year old son Tomas was the ring bearer. Directly after the ceremony, the newlyweds attended Tomas' soccer game.
